Policy Maker Forum Membership
The Miami-Dade County Children’s Services Council serves as the policy maker forum and meets quarterly. Members of the Council are:
- Miami-Dade State Attorney
- Superintendent of Schools
- MDCPS, Division of Early Child Care Programs
- District Administrator of the Department of Children and Families, District XI
- Director, Department of Juvenile Justice
- Director, Miami-Dade County Health Department
- County manager
- County commissioner
- School board member
- Judge assigned to Juvenile Court Division of Eleventh Judicial Circuit
- Dade Legislative Delegation
- Representative of United Way Board
- Representative of the Miami-Dade PTA/PTSAYouth Representative
- Representatives nominated by each of the thirteen county commissioners
