Shared Services Network
Process Outcomes
  • All meetings are well-attended and advertised in the local media, so are conducted in the "sunshine."
  • Understanding and communication among all district agencies, both private and public, have increased through:
    • Review of each agency’s mission vision, and scope of services.
    • Regular meetings whereby community issues are identified, thus reducing the need for many other meetings.
  • Through these regular meetings, the Shared Services Network has identified five key concerns in the community. These major issues were researched by the Steering Committee, and a recommendation was made by the Steering Committee to the Executive Roundtable to work on the priority community issue.
  • The Steering Committee is in the process of developing a community strategic plan to address this issue.
  • The Martin County Shared Services Network is working on the development of a Shared Services Network Day whereby both public and private agencies, as well as the community, can better acquaint each other with the various community supports and resources.
  • The Martin County Shared Services Network has begun the process of identifying resources for the enhancement of, and continuation of the facilitator position.
