Process Outcomes
- The MACC Council has adopted a mission statement:
- The Multi-Agency Coordinating Council (MACC) is dedicated to strategic collaboration of services to enhance the quality of life of families and children of Pasco County.
- Based upon interviews with MACC Council members, steering committee members, and service providers, three priority areas have been identified:
- There is a priority need to map and document current services to special risk families and children to identify possible gaps in service or unmet needs.
- There is a priority need to develop a collaborative strategic plan to reduce violence to and by youth in school and community settings.
- There is a priority need to address chronic non-attendance and truancy as a community issue involving schools, community-based services, children, and families.
