The following training is comprised of two tutorials. The Medicaid and Schools Tutorial is designed for use by all school district staff needing or desiring knowledge of the Florida Medicaid program. It provides an overview of Medicaid eligibility requirements and services available to Medicaid-eligible students. It also provides staff with an overall understanding of the Medicaid program in schools and how it relates to providing health and behavioral services in the classroom. The Administrative Claiming Tutorial is designed for use by school district RMS coders to provide information about the administrative claiming process. It includes a review of program requirements and in-depth activity code descriptions.
