A Shared Services Network Steering Committee is composed of middle managers and others with the expertise in planning, funding and providing services for children and families. Because of their unique position, they can effect change at the policy level as well as at the direct services level.
A Steering Committee will:
Identify issues requiring top level decisions which cross agency barriers for effective service delivery.
Research issues—gather data, develop options for decision makers.
